I think it’s safe to say that my introduction to New Wharf Brewing has been a highly successful one. This is a great brewery and a great beer on any metric you choose to judge it on.

For starters, Explorer is an APA, a beer style I haven’t had enough of this year. The lemony citrus flavour is not overpowering, helping to compliment the bitter malt and caramel notes. Simply put, it is a gentle, well balanced and moreish pale.
