This one is a bruiser. A heavy hitting 8% DIPA from FourPure. I am all for interesting beers and Mai Tai cocktail inspired IPA certainly ticks that particular box.

First up, the visuals. It certainly looks the part. A deep orange mid-haze colour and a thick form head. An inviting proposition to say the least. On closer inspection you immediately pick up blood orange on the nose.

The taste matches the ABV and the nose. Intense, strong orange flavours but with wonderful balance. You can absolutely tell it is a high ABV but it is still deceptive. I would not have guessed 8% certainly.

Overall, a tremendous example of a Double IPA.
